Clinton County announces available financial aid to restore owner-occupied single-family homes through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), funded by DCED. Applications for assistance are NOW being accepted.

This program aims to increase the availability of decent, safe, sanitary, and affordable housing for low- and very low income Pennsylvanians. It will use funds to fix code violations, eliminate health and safety risks such as lead-based paint and radon, and enhance energy efficiency or accessibility for qualifying homeowners. Assistance is provided as a deferred-payment loan, which will be forgiven after 5 years, provided the homeowner continues to occupy the residence. Under 24 CFR Part 92, a lien will be placed on the property for the duration of the affordability period.
